On behalf of the staff I would like to send Mrs Davies all of our love and best wishes as she leaves Coldfall to begin her retirement. The principles that she has imbued into Coldfall and each one of us, over 25 years of outstanding service, will sustain the school long into the future. We are grateful for her inspirational leadership, her unstinting commitment to the school and love for the children and its community.
I am very excited and privileged to lead the school and would like to underline my deep commitment to maintaining what has made Coldfall so successful but also to grow the school so that it provides the very best foundations for our children to have a happy, safe and successful futures.
In the Summer term I’m optimistic that the easing of restrictions will allow us to gradually return to the full provision that the children benefit so greatly from. In order to achieve this we request your continued support by maintaining social distancing and wearing of masks at drop-off and pick up times. In school our focus will continue to be re-establishing the positive learning behaviours and routines necessary to successfully engage with learning whilst working hard to ensure that children are secure in the key skills they need to progress confidently to the next stage in their learning.
I am grateful for the positive support I have received from the parent community upon my appointment and fully recognise my responsibility to serve the children and community. A positive, open and trusting relationship between the school and parents is undoubtedly in the best interests of the children and I look forward to working in partnership with you.
