- On Friday 9th February (last day of this half term) we will be having our Valentines Disco. Children can dress up in their party clothes. Please can they bring in a £1 donation for EducAid.
- Children’s Mental Health Week will take place from 5th to 9th February and the theme this year is ‘My Voice Matters’.
My Voice Matters is about empowering children and young people by providing them with the tools they need to express themselves.
When we feel empowered, there is a positive impact on our wellbeing. Children who feel that their voices are heard and can make a difference have a greater sense of community and self-esteem. This year, we want children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to be empowered to work together to create a positive change for their mental health and wellbeing.
During Children’s Mental Health Week, we will be carrying out activities in class to help children’s voices shine through and to empower them to tell their own stories. In addition to this, Haringey’s Mental Health Practitioners, Trailblazers, will be delivering a whole school assembly based on mental health and emotional regulation.
It is Hummingbird Class assembly on Friday 9th February and you are invited to have a cup of coffee with the Senior Leadership Team afterwards. Please remember to leave via the Everington Road gate.
On Wednesday Year 3 will head to Fortismere to watch an exciting performance.
On Tuesday 6th Year 5 are having a DT day.
Unfortunately, we have had to re-schedule the Year 6 Samba competition which was originally due to be held on 21st February. It will now be on Tuesday 5th March in the Main Hall at 3pm. We hope to see you there! Apologies for any inconvenience.
