Anywhere Book Club Event – Staffroom
This event will take place between 9:05am and 9:45am on 14/11/2025
- We, at the Anywhere Bok Club, want to reimagine how adults can support children’s literacy. In our experience as teachers (with over 30 years in schools between us), we know that many parents and carers are keen to help their child enjoy books, reading and writing but struggle to know exactly how to do this in a fun, manageable and purposeful way.
- Our brief presentatin discusses some of the barriers that children might face and offers advice and suggestins about how parents and carers can support their child’s literacy using our games that are quick, accessible and fit easily into busy family life. Anywhere Book Club activities are carefully designed not only to develop language skills, but also well-being and confidence and are aimed primarily at 6–10-year-olds but can be adapted for both younger and older children.
- After the presentatin, there will be time to ask questions as well as a chance to purchase Anywhere Book Club products at a discounted price.
- We hpe you can join us on Friday 14th Nvember at 9am in the Staffroom so we can help you spark a lifelng love of reading and writing in your children, through playing, talking and connecting – anywhere and anytime.
