Training at Coldfall Teaching School

Even before Coldfall Primary School was accredited with “Teaching School“ status, Coldfall has been running in service training course for teachers.

Initially we worked with Osiris Education as our training partner, but more recently we have been more concerned with tailoring our training to meet the needs of the schools in our local community.

Therefore we no longer offer general training sessions, we only offer well tried and tested training in specific areas where we believe we have expertise.

Our vision

Provide top quality training for our teachers from the moment they enter the profession as trainees and to continue to support them in their career right up to head teacher level.

Ensuring that we are able to identify, train, promote and keep great teachers to educate our children.

Experienced and Accredited

Coldfall has a very experienced leadership team led by Evelyn Davies who is an accredited National Leader of Education (NLE). Under Evelyn’s leadership members of her team have been invited to lead training in many venues across the country. Coldfall has a proven track record for providing training, whether that is for leadership teams or School Direct trainees the training is always top quality, tried, tested and quality assured.

Our Aim

To ensure that the teachers working in our local schools are the best trained, best prepared, inspired and motivated to provide a first class education for our  children.

Facilities

Coldfall has a purpose built self contained training suite. Our training suite is air conditioned and

fully equipped with all toilet, catering and IT facilities needed for successful training days.

All meals and snacks are of high quality and prepared on site by our own in house chef and catering team.
