– Trust –
As a teacher of over 25 years, I have felt the benefits of a trusting relationship between parents and the school. I believe that to work in education you have to have to be optimistic and have the best interests of children at heart. I also do my very best to make sure that everyone who works at Coldfall ‘buys into’ this culture and has your trust.
Incidents at school sometimes necessitate a difficult conversation between members of staff and parents.
Therefore:
• Please trust us that when we raise an issue with you it is, to the best of our knowledge, and understanding true.
• Please trust that we have the best interests of the children at heart and that we want to work with you to find solutions to problems.
• Please trust our judgement or suggestions of ways forward. As education professionals we have a huge amount of collective knowledge between us.
• Please believe that we do not label children because of their behaviour. Mistakes, in every aspect of school life, are inevitable and fundamental for their learning
