AFTER SCHOOL CLUB PLAYWORKER
Hours: 3.30 - 6.00pm Monday to Thursday (10 hours a week term time only)
Salary: £7,425 per year pro rata + a free place for your children in Night Owls or EYFS After School Club if your child attends Coldfall.

Coldfall Primary School is seeking to recruit a kind, compassionate, and fun Playworker to work in our EYFS After School Club. You will work with 3, 4 to 5 year olds, alongside experienced staff, and provide our children with the knowledge, skills and dispositions to thrive now and in their futures.
This post is suitable for those experienced working with children and/or someone with the appropriate level of qualification. The successful applicant will be expected to be flexible and set high standards for themselves, the school and our children. They will have a positive outlook and will be excited at the prospect of working as part of a small, positive and hardworking team.

KITCHEN ASSISTANT
Hours: 4 hours daily (20 hours weekly), Monday to Friday 10.00 -2.00pm, Term Time only
Salary: £14,849 per annum

The Head Teacher and Governors seek to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team. Our dedicated kitchen team produce and serve over 620 delicious hot meals to children every day.

Context and purpose:
To assist the Chef and Assistant Kitchen Manager in the provision of catering services.
Main Duties
- The basic preparation of food and beverages e.g., hot food, fresh vegetables, salads etc
- Simple cooking duties
- Serving of meals
- General kitchen duties e.g., washing up, unloading deliveries etc
- Cleaning the kitchen, the surrounding areas and equipment
- Setting out children’s dining tables and putting them away
- Awareness and knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene principles
- Willingness to work as part of a staff team
- To undertake such other duties as may reasonably be expected
Please note, these duties reflect the core activities of the role and as the post holder develops there will inevitably be changes in the emphasis of duties. It is expected that the post holder will recognise this and adopt a flexible approach to work and participate in training when required.
